Random Acts of Stupidity of Marilyn & Wilma

The names have been changed to protect the guilty. Marilyn and Wilma are co-workers of The Dog and Cat. The Cast of Characters are explained in Post #2 (March 06).
In case you're wondering - we don't make this stuff up - nor do we exaggerate it. We would never come up with this on our own! We can't laugh out loud at work, so we use this as a way to laugh and vent some of the frustrations.
Do you also have to live/work with stupidity such as this? Leave a comment and let us know!

We Hope Buell's Rabies Shot Is Up-to-Date!

Marilyn called in sick yesterday. She told us that she was lying down and Buell (her dog) was on top of her. She wanted him to get up, but he wouldn't.... so she bit him..... THREE times.....

Dare we open the forum for comments????? Keep them to a PG-13 level.... please.....

Bye Bye Birdies

Marilyn has been complaining that a bird ate all the fish out of her pond and that Buell knocked down all of her yard "purties" trying to catch it. Now they are thinking about rigging up some sort of siren that will go off when the bird comes flying in.

We hope that siren keeps them awake at night!

How Do You Lose a Cat on a Leash?

Marilyn and I (Cat) were talking this morning about a completely unrelated subject when she suddenly says, "I lost Kitty for about 10 minutes yesterday - with her leash on. I was about ready to call JoeJack to get Buell and come help me look for her. Buell can always find her. I tell him "go find your sister". He starts sniffing the ground and goes straight to her. He's so smart."

How could you lose a cat that's on a leash?! Just follow the leash the the other end and you will eventually find her!

And... this is from a person who says she's not an animal lover. Yet she's always talking her Buell & Kitty. We haven't heard anything lately about the birds.... and we're not going to ask about them!

Buell Eats a Sofa Cushion

Yesterday Marilyn came back from lunch and started telling us how Buell was eating a sofa cushion when she arrived home. She said she kept telling him he is a bad dog.... then added "but I didn't cuss him out."

How would he know if she cussed him or not?

Marilyn's Trick Fish

Marilyn was complaining that she had to run home at lunch to let "pup-dog" out because it's such a waste of time. Wilma suggested that she just put him out in the morning before she left for work. Marilyn said that wouldn't work because he would get mad and tear up their "pretties" that they have outside.

She then went on to say that they have a new fish in their goldfish pond. It's a black fish and Buell is always trying to catch it. She has to watch him very carefully when she lets him outside at lunchtime.

She then told us about two of the fish that she used to have in her pond. She said these fish would jump out of the water and do tricks so the birds probably ate them while they were doing their tricks.

Buell's Bandana

While she was on the subject of the dawg this morning Marilyn told us that JoeJack's mom had bought Buell a "Harley Davis" bandana.

"Harley Davis"..... Is this a new hip designer for doggy wear???

(It wasn't a slip of the tongue, she said it twice!)

Don't You Dare Scar My Dog!!!

Marilyn dropped Buell off at the vet office yesterday evening to get a couple of spots checked. The vet called this morning to tell Marilyn that they had removed three (small) masses - the original 2 plus 1 they found on his face.

Marilyn called JoeJack to tell him and all he could say was "They better not scar my dog." (Or would that be dawg? Buell is a boxer so he's a big dawg.)

Are Those Love Bites?

Marilyn has been complaining recently about bruising on her arms from Buell (her dog) biting her and says he's now targeting her bosom.

We think they look more like JoeJack bites than Buell. He's a big dog.... these are little bruises....

Terrifying Beast Wears Necklace!

Marilyn has a dog - we'll call him Buell (sort of a clue to his real name). Marilyn had this to say about Buell:

"He don't like mindin' too good."

She & JoeJack took Buell to obedience school - but never took him out of the car. Marilyn said he was trying to attack another dog through the window and she figured Buell would "eat him alive."

Marilyn's dog & cat do not wear collars. They wear necklaces.

Please do not confuse Buell, her dog, with The Dog in these postings!
